Nafas (“Nafas”, “we”, “our”, or “the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how advertising may work in the app, and how you can delete your account and data.

1. Information We Collect
When you use Nafas, we may collect and store the following information:
Your email address, if you create an account or sign in using Google, Apple, or email/password.
Your display name, if provided by your sign-in method or entered by you.
Your smoking logs, including the number of cigarettes you record.
Daily summaries generated from your activity in the app.
Your smoking reduction plan, including your current daily count, target daily count, cigarette pack details, currency, and start date.
App progress data, such as badges, streaks, savings estimates, and achievement records.
Basic technical information needed for authentication, security, app functionality, diagnostics, and error prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Create and manage your Nafas account.
Save and display your smoking reduction progress.
Generate daily summaries, streaks, badges, savings estimates, and achievement progress.
Allow you to continue your progress when you sign in again.
Provide account deletion and data deletion features.
Maintain app security and improve the reliability of the app.
Show advertisements, measure ad performance, prevent advertising fraud and abuse, and support app monetization.
We do not sell your personal smoking logs or account progress data.
3. Account Sign-In
Nafas may allow users to sign in using email/password, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or guest access.
If you use Google or Apple Sign-In, your authentication is handled by the relevant provider. Nafas receives only the information needed to create and manage your app account, such as your email address and display name when available.
4. Guest Use
Nafas may allow guest use. Guest data may be stored locally or connected to an anonymous account. If you later create an account, your progress may be linked to your registered account where supported by the app.
Guest data may be lost if the app is removed, reset, or if the guest session cannot be recovered.
5. Data Storage
Nafas uses Firebase services to store account and progress data securely. Your account data, logs, daily summaries, badges, and progress records may be stored using Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no digital service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Advertising and Third-Party Advertising Partners
Nafas may show advertisements in the app. These advertisements may be provided by third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdMob or similar advertising services.
Advertising partners may collect, receive, or process certain information from your device or app usage, including device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, ad interactions, approximate location, diagnostics, and technical information.
This information may be used to:
Show advertisements in the app.
Personalize ads where permitted by law and your device or consent settings.
Show non-personalized ads where personalization is not available or not permitted.
Measure ad performance.
Limit repeated ads.
Prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid advertising activity.

Nafas is designed to support smoking reduction and habit tracking. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.
The information, progress tracking, badges, savings estimates, and app messages provided by Nafas are for general informational and motivational purposes only.

9. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your Nafas account from inside the app:

When you delete your account, Nafas deletes your Firebase Authentication account and related app data, including your user profile, smoking logs, daily summaries, badges, and progress data.

After receiving a deletion request, we may need to verify that you are the account owner before deleting account data.
10. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app’s features.
When you delete your account, we delete your main account data and progress records from our active database, unless we are required to keep certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance reasons.
Some anonymized, aggregated, or non-identifying information may be retained for analytics, security, or business purposes where it cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
Advertising partners may retain advertising-related information according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.
11. Children’s Privacy
Nafas is not intended for children. The app is designed for adults who want to reduce or quit smoking.
